Mondale & Associates is located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. We represent multiple product lines in several states including Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Iowa.
Curtis Mondale
President and Owner
Curtis is a third generation manufacturers’ representative, and serves as president of the company. Curt works closely with our manufacturers, developing strategic direction and marketing programs for distributors, contractors and engineers. Prior to joining the company, Curt was a senior executive of two firms outside the industry and a principal at a venture capital firm. With his strong and varied background, Curt brings a breadth of experience and a unique perspective to issues often appreciated by customers. Curt earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and his undergraduate degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN.
Brian Frazier
Territory Sales Manager
Brian has sales responsibilities for the State of Iowa as well as the southern and northeastern portions of Minnesota, and accounts in the Twin Cities. He joined the company in September 2007 and brought a wealth of experience and technical knowledge to the team. Brian enjoys a proven track record of growing sales in his territory by creating contractor demand. He has developed and nurtured solid relationships with numerous distributors and contractors during his 30 years in the industry, including ten as a manufacturers’ representative and another 15 years working for a major distributor in the roles of Outside Sales and HVAC & Hydronics System Specialist. Brian graduated from the HVAC Program at Dunwoody Institute and began his career as a field service technician.
Chad Marzitelli
Territory Sales Manager
Chad has sales responsibility for the State of Wisconsin and accounts in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Chad has been in the heating and cooling industry for more than 14 years. Prior to joining the company in 2009, Chad served as the hydronic heating, geothermal and domestic hot water product manager for a major distributor. In this role, he developed and implemented comprehensive marketing strategies for the sales team, which included a combination of training, applications assistance and technical support. His career started with a major Pex tubing manufacture in the design department providing technical support and designing radiant heating systems. Chad earned a BS degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
Shawn Donovan
Territory Sales Manager
Shawn has sales responsibility for North Dakota and South Dakota and accounts in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. He has spent the last 17 years in the wholesale distribution of plumbing, industrial and HVAC products to the contracting trade. He has worked very hard on building loyal customers by providing the value added type sales experience. His career started in the commercial hydronics side of the business and then moved to more of a commercial / residential focus specifically with Hydronics, Forced air systems and controls. Inside of that experience Shawn has done various technical and design roles and assisted with many projects to ensure design expectations have been met. His favorite part of the business is the engineering application aspect of the HVAC business. In addition, he has been certified by various manufacturers on their products and features.
Joan Mondale
General Manager / Marketing
Joan joined the family business in 2006 and now oversees all marketing and sales support functions, as well as operational and various administrative responsibilities for the company. She coordinates sales efforts such as training seminars, promotions and customer communications in addition to providing customer support. Joan brings a wealth of marketing and sales experience to the company, as well as a unique and varied perspective. Joan’s prior professional experiences include National Sales & Marketing Manager for Prudential Healthcare’s Dental Division. She was also an Account Executive in charge of managing large account relationships for two different companies, Prudential Insurance and Cigna. Joan earned her B.A. degree in Marketing/Business Administration, from Ohio University.
Will Smith
Operations Coordinator
Serving as Operations Coordinator, Will’s duties include the oversight of order processing and fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and the management of our warehouse. Will also coordinates website development, internal reporting and provides customer service. Will received his B.A. from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota where he studied Sociology and Anthropology.
Mike Dunn
Inside Sales Representative / Technical Support
Mike provides technical support to our customers in additional to being responsible for inside sales. He has been in the plumbing/HVAC business since 1985. Mike has extensive experience in design, installation and bidding both residential and commercial projects for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, geothermal and solar systems. Mike has received numerous certifications in addition to being a Master Plumber, and ran his own heating and plumbing business for six years.
